JEPPCA and Lingap Matua Foundation Forge Partnership for Community Development and Responsible Migration
The Japan Employment Providers of the Philippines & Consultants' Association (JEPPCA) and Lingap Matua Foundation, Inc. formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA ) to strengthen collaboration on community development, responsible migration, and initiatives that benefit senior citizens, aspiring overseas workers, OFW families, and local communities.
The MOA was signed on behalf of JEPPCA by Vice President for External Affairs, Dr. Belen M. Alhumayed while Dr. Bernardo P. Simon, Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, represented Lingap Matua Foundation, Inc.
Under the partnership, the two organizations will work together on a range of programs, including:
- - Community health, wellness, and senior citizen outreach;
- - Livelihood and community development initiatives;
- - Information sessions on ethical recruitment, responsible migration, and employment opportunities in Japan;
- - Japanese language, culture, and workplace orientation activities;
- - Anti-illegal recruitment and worker protection awareness campaigns;
- - Scholarship, training referral, volunteer, and community service programs; and
- - Humanitarian, disaster response, and other corporate social responsibility initiatives.
The partnership also recognizes the important role of responsible recruitment and skills development in creating sustainable opportunities for Filipinos while promoting the welfare and dignity of vulnerable sectors, particularly senior citizens and OFW families.
JEPPCA remains committed to collaborating with organizations that share its vision of ethical recruitment, responsible migration, worker protection, and community empowerment, while helping build stronger partnerships that benefit both the Philippines and Japan.
The Association looks forward to implementing meaningful projects with Lingap Matua Foundation in the months ahead, in support of safer migration, lifelong learning, and inclusive community development.
During the ceremony, JEPPCA Secretary Nissy Vergara gave an appreciation message and accepted the Appreciation certificate from the Foundation.
